The Department of Health and Sport Sciences of the TUM School of Medicine and Health, under the leadership of the Chair of Preventive Pediatrics (staff union: Prof. Dr. Oberhoffer-Fritz / Dr. Schulz), has been offering TUM students a free medical and sports motor check-up. The possibility of extensive diagnostics, including cardiovascular and pulmonary screening, can reveal health abnormalities during physical exertion - within and outside of study.
The examinations are free of charge for TUM students and take place on two days within 14 days:
Day 1: sports medicine
Day 2: sports motor skills
Appointments are currently only for students in the 1st & 2nd semester of the B.Sc. Sports Science or B.Sc. Health science can be booked directly. If you are studying in a different course or semester at TUM and are interested in an appointment, simply contact the team by email (sport-gesundheit@sg.tum.de).
We currently offer appointments for sports medical examinations on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please plan 2-2.5 hours for your visit. We offer appointments to check sports motor skills on Wednesdays and Fridays (duration approx. 30 minutes).
To enable you to plan your appointments flexibly, you can book the two appointments separately in two booking steps. The medical examination (day 1) must take place before the sports motor tests (day 2). There must be at least one rest day between the two test days!
You will receive all important details by email in time before the examinations.
