Mental health

As studies have shown, students are significantly more stressed than employees of the same age. The number of students struggling with psychological stress, such as anxiety disorders and depression, during their studies has increased significantly in recent years. Social isolation during the corona pandemic in particular has led to students increasingly struggling with mental illnesses.

Mental health is important to us! On this page you will find activities and measures that were developed by students for students and can help you speed up your everyday university life and be careful with yourself and your mental health.

Boost your Resilience

In November 2023, the social media campaign “Boost your Resilience” was offered via TUM4Health’s Instagram account (@tum4health). You can now find the tips, exercises and information collected here on our homepage. The Reels are still available at https://www.instagram.com/tum4health/.

We would like to thank the students Sofia, Nina, Sarah and Franziska for their commitment to this project. The focus of this campaign was on the topics of “stress management”, “social contacts” and “motivation to focus on solutions”. Click straight in - you're sure to find valuable tips for yourself.
