It's that time again - we're starting a new challenge. This time it is all about mindfulness and mental health. Be a part of it and give it a try.

The 28-day challenge aims to improve mental health on the bio-psycho-social level as well as general well-being. During these challenging times we want to support you by strengthening your mental health, by giving you a selection of various health-promoting ideas and by offering self-help techniques for studying - and above all this challenge is designed to slow down everyday life and just to be fun!

Challenge 2: 4 weeks to increase physical performance

6 days a week for 4 weeks: our sport challenge is designed as a 30-day program which provides you with daily exercises focusing on different body parts. You can decide independently what time of the day you want to perform these exercises. In total, the exercises last between 90 seconds in the 1st week and a maximum of 6 minutes in the 4th week - so no excuses are accepted ;)

Take your time and do something good for yourself and your health. It is worth it!
So... On your marks - set - go: the challenge is already waiting for you!

To get to the exercises, click on the pictures. You will receive instructions that explain how to proceed step by step.

On the right you will find a plan that gives an overview over all exercises. Below you will find the daily movement challenge. (All further information is only provided in German.)

Challenge 3: Test your knowledge of myths and rumors

There are many myths and rumors on the subject of "sport and health", but do you know what is really true? Test your knowledge on the following questions and find out about current research. Have fun!
(You can find more "puzzles" in our section "Health or Myth")
  • Sport protects against dementia!

It is no secret that to a large extent doing sports or being physically active positively impacts health. But how far do these positive effects reach? Can exercise even be considered to be an effective dementia prophylaxis?

True Just a myth!
  • You can not teach old dogs new tricks!

At some point each one of us has probably caught ourselves in jumping to conclusions or being guided by prejudice. The myth persists that children who are not particularly physically active during childhood will never be or seen the other way round, that adults who do not prioritise physical activity were also less likely to be physically active in their childhood. Is there really a relation or is it just made up?

True Just a myth!
  • Stitches in the side caused by incorrect breathing!

Who has not been part of the following conversation either during or after a run:  "Wow, I have a stitch in my side!" - "That is probably because you are breathing incorrectly while running."

    But is this actually true?

True Just a myth!
  • Is exercise important for weight loss?

After New Year's the gyms are overrun by many who are very motivated to lose weight. This is because many have the same resolution and the same goal: to lose the last pounds gained on vacation or during winter.

Some think it is evident that hours of exercise are the solution to get rid of problem areas.

    But is that true?

True Just a myth!
