Solution laughing

This myth is true!

Laughing is not an actual cure but it does have positive effects on the body. Laughing wholeheartedly lowers the stress hormone adrenaline and stimulates the hormone dopamine as well as the mood enhancer endorphin which also has anti-inflammatory effects.

Dopamine is released by the pleasure, reward and happiness center of the brain and thus gives us a euphoric feeling of happiness. [1] This feeling of happiness induced by laughing and the liberating, positive effects are purposefully used in hospitals. In some clinics, clowns

In some clinics, clowns are hired to make the environment more pleasant through funny performances and skits and, above all, to still the children's fear of operations. [1] In addition, studies have shown that laughing lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome [2] and increases the production of natural killer cells that help fight infection and recognize tumor cells [3]. Apart from the positive effects laughing has on our bodies it is also recognised to be a social phenomenon. Laughing expresses affection and can help avert social conflicts [4]. Laughing is not always a magic cure but it has positive effects on a physical, psychological and social level.
