Mobility

Mobility exercises for the whole body with Mobifit

During our studies and especially during exams we tend to spend a lot of time sitting. Afterwards you may feel inflexible, tense or even experience back pain. You have come to the right place! Our project "mobifit" provides you with all kinds of mobility exercises. Our aim is to help you and your body relieve stress and to give you a positive perception of your own body. This is why we have created a number of videos that you can use to regularly mobilise yourself.

(All videos and instructions are in German.)

  • Week 1: Shoulder and neck mobilisation - 9 minutes

Pain or tension in our shoulder or neck is often a result of sitting in the same position for too long. The "soft tissue", i.e. muscle, fat, and connective tissue hardens and then we experience uncomfortable tension. Performing mobility exercises on a regular basis helps prevent tense muscles and pain.

  • Week 2: Back mobilisation

Back pain and tension are often caused by an incorrect load on the spine. A lot of sitting can contribute to unhealthy body posture and thus incorrect stress. Since we spend a lot of time sitting at the moment it is all the more important to get up and move regularly.

    Have fun exercising!

  • Week 3: Hip mobilisation

When we frequently remain in a seated position for a long time we tend to experience tension in our hip area. This in turn leads to pain and is often associated with limited mobility.

In order to prevent or counteract this, today's exercises for mobilizing the hip are particularly suitable for rather passive times such as finals.

Just a few minutes can work wonders, have fun!

We show you the right exercises in the video.

And here you can find the exact instructions for the individual exercises and the corresponding images as a pdf.
