Adventsbingo

The TUM4Health Advent Bingo

Advent is usually associated with a contemplative end to the year with lots of time for yourself and your family. At least that's the expectation... But this time is often overshadowed by work or study commitments, last-minute shopping and stress in your free time. In order for you to take time for a few conscious moments, we have created an Advent bingo for you, which maybe helps you enjoy the (pre-)Christmas season. Try to tick off as many rows, columns or diagonals as possible or maybe even the entire playing field (the bingo can also be completed after Christmas ). You will also find inspiration below to make the whole thing easier for you.You can find the print version here.

Do-it-yourself

Christmas - the festival of love, or the festival of gifts? With do-it-yourself gifts, you not only spend mindful time making them, but such gifts are also usually seen as a loving gesture. And it doesn't always have to be expensive. We have put together a few pages with great inspiration for you, maybe you will find something to make your loved ones happy here, here or here.

Good News

News usually paints a very gloomy picture, because the content is predominantly negative. Do you know "Good News"? Some portals have made it their goal to collect only the good news and make it available to their readers. Take a look! Of course, you shouldn't completely block out the bad news, but every now and then it can be nice to read that great things are happening in the world. For example, here, here, here or here.

Christmas markets

Baking cookies

Cookies are simply part of the Advent and Christmas season. Although they are not necessarily good for your health, we think that you should treat yourself to something every now and then, especially at Christmas time. Nevertheless, we have gone looking for healthy cookie recipes, some of which you could perhaps put on your cookie plate. Try the following recipe, for example:

Lemon and almond stars without refined sugar.

Pause

Many people associate the Christmas season with stress. No wonder: Finding presents, baking, decorating, cleaning, spending time with family, friends and so on... It is especially important to take a break now and then. Breathing or mindfulness exercises can help you to consciously focus on nothing other than your breathing and help you to literally take a breath. There are lots of guided exercises online. We have put together a few for you that are suitable for beginners. Breath- and Mindfulness meditations selected.

Sports and exercise

The Christmas holidays are known to be more of a cosy time. Many people spend the time with family or friends and thus far away from their own gym and sports club. But sometimes it can be good to do a little exercise. We have a few Home workouts and three Mobility sessions which you can do in a short time and without any equipment.
